A huge congratulations to PolyU SFT PhD candidates, Violet Wang and Sophie Xue, on receiving this prestigious award and elevating PolyU SFT fashion business research

We are delighted to congratulate our #PhD students in fashion business, Wang Jiayu, Violet and Xue Hanfei, Sophie, on receiving the "Award for Outstanding Excellence" for their research presented at the 31st International Costume Congress, held in #Taiwan from 24–26 August 2026. 🏆

Their award-winning study, “Virtual vs. Human Influencers: Which Type Captures Consumer Minds and Shapes Behavior, and How Does Content Moderate Their Impact?”, was recognised as the top Oral Presentation at the Congress.

With only one Award for Outstanding Excellence presented in each of the three categories — Oral Presentation, Poster Presentation, and Exhibition — this achievement represents a significant recognition of their academic excellence and research contribution.
