Dr. Ki's
Teaching Philosophy

"I am eager to engage with, enlighten and inspire students to become more than what they think they could be."

Dr. Ki focuses on developing class materials that contain both theory and practice. The purpose of maintaining such balance is twofold: 1) it is to provide students with theoretical knowledge that will help them understand the fashion and apparel industry in general; and 2) it is to offer them a realistic sense of what it will be like working as a fashion merchandiser, retailer, or marketer in the field, so that they can design their future career paths.
