The award presentation for the ai-FaMe STORE's Avatar Design Contest took place on May 10th. Congratulations to the three talented winners from SFT!

The ai-FaMe Research Group is delighted to announce the winners of its Avatar Design Contest. 

With numerous talented students participating, a distinguished panel of judges—including Prof. Calvin Wong (Center Director of the AiDLab), Mr. Jimmy Chan (Head of Commercial, APAC at Goxip), and Ms. Winnie Choy (Senior Manager of Regional E-business Projects for LVMH Fashion Group)—meticulously evaluated each submission and selected three outstanding designs.

On May 10, 2024, we held the Avatar Design Contest Award ceremony to present the awards and cash prizes to the winners:

• Championship: KO, Jiyeong and JIM, Yu Ching (Winners of HKD 5,000 cash prize)

• Second place: HUI, Hei Yan (Winner of HKD 3,000 cash prize)

Congratulations to the winners for their outstanding display of creativity and design skills, breaking conventional boundaries and seamlessly incorporating the essence of SFT into their designs. We also extend our gratitude to the donors, including the President of Della, for their generous funding support, as well as to the School of Fashion and Textiles and the Education Development Center of Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Among the avatars, some will undergo further refinement and development based on judges' feedback and will be 3D modeled to visually represent the ai-FaMe STORE. Stay tuned for updates!
